Applying to our Program

Application Steps

Step 1

Review the lists of Supervisors Seeking Students and identify potential supervisors whose research matches your interests.

Step 2

Contact the potential supervisors who interest you directly as we will not contact them for you. When doing so, it is a good idea to include your current CV, publication list (if applicable), copies of all post-secondary transcripts, and your TOEFL and GRE scores (if applicable) – if possible merged into one PDF document. Also, you may want to state your research interests.  It is up to you to set up interviews with them to determine if they are able to recruit you as a graduate student.

Step 3

Proceed with the formal application process as outlined on the Application Process page upon confirmation of a supervisor.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A SUPERVISOR IDENTIFIED, you can still proceed with your application at any time.  Although the responsibility to find a supervisor ultimately rests with you, we can help you do so by distributing your (complete) application to potential supervisors who may be actively recruiting students.  This however, does not guarantee that you will find a match and your application fee will not be returned.  Your application fee will be valid for one year.

If after reviewing the content of this website you have specific questions about your application, please contact Graduate Admissions.
